This map shows my route and where I am. You can select a Different display using one of the tree buttons at the top of the map (Topo, Aerial and Road). Road displays information on a Google map which I find the easiest to interpret.
Find the road to Ronda, from a place called Tarraguda (I think) It's close to the Valderama golf club and is where all the journos test the launch bikes. Bloody amazing road if my memory serves me right.
I do now plan to have a look at Portugal Paul. Antonio has given me a couple of suggestions and I remember those that Micky gave us last year in the Picos.
Paul, unfortunately, I missed the lake as i was getting very tired and decided to pick a shorter route to Jaca where I intended to stay the night. As it was an unplanned detour for a blocked road meant I saved little time and could have seen it.. Oh well, there is always next year!
Muchas gracias Mercedes. ¡No estoy seguro de que yo llamaría el blog un libro, creo que todavía hay un largo viaje por recorrer antes de que me convierta en un autor! Gracias por tú comentario y apoyo mientras he estado escribiendo el blog.
You may as well get a ferry over to Morocco now Chris!
ReplyDeletePaul - we can do that next year!

ReplyDeleteThanks Jim, I will look out for it. I plan to stay in Ronda tonight.
DeleteEarly start today Chris. Have a good day out there. Looks like Portugal my be fitted in after all?

DeleteYou probably already know Chris, but the Portuguese equivalent of the Spanish Paradors in which you have been staying are Pousadas. Have fun.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know until a day before you mentioned it Paul. Antonio told me the same thing when I was in Estepona.
DeleteEnjoy Salamanca Chris. Surely you know, but you should search for the frog and the astronaut in the façade of the church. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteMercedes:
ReplyDeleteGracias por el aviso, ahora me aseguraré a encontrarlos!
Chris, I see you were on the A21 east of Yesa. An excellent road by the lake if I remember correctly?

DeleteFull circle... Last day in Spain? ...for a while!
ReplyDeleteYes Paul, I feel quite sad. Still as Arnold said - "I'll be back!"
DeleteHave a safe run back home today Chris. Looking forward to your road trip stories and videos.
ReplyDeleteTHanks Paul - not quite there yet - tomorrow I will be though!
DeleteChris, tu vida es completa: has tenido un hijo, seguro que has plantado un árbol y has concluido un precioso libro de viajes.

DeleteLooks like a great route to be running in a new bike Chris.
ReplyDeleteThe blue line is the semi-planned route for our tour of high spots.
ReplyDeleteIt will be interesting to compare that with what we actually do. Wherever I'm sure it will be memorable.
