My Tracks

This map shows my route and where I am. You can select a Different display using one of the tree buttons at the top of the map (Topo, Aerial and Road). Road displays information on a Google map which I find the easiest to interpret.

  1. You may as well get a ferry over to Morocco now Chris!

  2. Find the road to Ronda, from a place called Tarraguda (I think) It's close to the Valderama golf club and is where all the journos test the launch bikes. Bloody amazing road if my memory serves me right.

    1. I do now plan to have a look at Portugal Paul. Antonio has given me a couple of suggestions and I remember those that Micky gave us last year in the Picos.

  4. You probably already know Chris, but the Portuguese equivalent of the Spanish Paradors in which you have been staying are Pousadas. Have fun.

    1. I didn't know until a day before you mentioned it Paul. Antonio told me the same thing when I was in Estepona.

  5. Enjoy Salamanca Chris. Surely you know, but you should search for the frog and the astronaut in the façade of the church. Good luck!

  7. Chris, I see you were on the A21 east of Yesa. An excellent road by the lake if I remember correctly?

    1. Paul, unfortunately, I missed the lake as i was getting very tired and decided to pick a shorter route to Jaca where I intended to stay the night. As it was an unplanned detour for a blocked road meant I saved little time and could have seen it.. Oh well, there is always next year!

  10. Chris, tu vida es completa: has tenido un hijo, seguro que has plantado un árbol y has concluido un precioso libro de viajes.

    1. Muchas gracias Mercedes. ¡No estoy seguro de que yo llamaría el blog un libro, creo que todavía hay un largo viaje por recorrer antes de que me convierta en un autor! Gracias por tú comentario y apoyo mientras he estado escribiendo el blog.

  13. It will be interesting to compare that with what we actually do. Wherever I'm sure it will be memorable.
